Former NFL Tight End Shannon Sharpe has landed on thin ice after some of his latest antics stirred controversy over social media. Sharpe, regarded as one of the greatest TEs of all time, was under the radar after his NSFW video got leaked over various social media platforms. After a lot of trolls and memes over the scenario, the former NFL TE shed light on what actually happened at the moment and expressed his disappointment over the entire situation.

Shannon Sharpe’s NSFW Video Goes Viral , Former TE Breaks Silence After Initial Statement

The internet exploded after Shannon Sharpe accidentally went live on Instagram Live, and the fans were shocked to see NSFW content being broadcast live from the three-time Super Bowl champion's account. While the video did not show any person, the sounds were very explicit, causing a stir all over various social media platforms. The video has since gone viral, and it has triggered reactions and jokes from the fans.

After Shannon Sharpe learned about what happened, he was quick to release an official statement on his Instagram Stories. But he was quick to delete it.

"Beware my Instagram was hacked this morning, my team and I are working vigorously to figure this out. -UNC," Sharpe wrote.

However, in his latest appearance at the Nightcap Podcast, the former Tight End expressed disappointment about what had happened and said that he is embarrassed to have his intimate details come out to the public

"I am embarrassed. Someone that is extremely private, and to have one of your most intimate details, the audio heard for the entire world? I'm embarrassed for a number of reasons... I'm very disappointed in myself, not for the act but to have your most intimate detail heard," Shannon Sharpe.

Sharpe added that he has never used the Instagram Live feature and doesn't know how it works. He also revealed that after the incident went viral, his phone buzzed like crazy with people whom he never talked to calling him up. But after he got to know about the situation, his heart sank.
